SS-C-035          Babysitter Lessons and Safety Training (BLAST)

AIM

This course provides training for individuals to learn basic child care skills that may be applied in the baby sitting environment. 

CONTENT

• Ages and stages of development
• Rules and routines in the home 
• Diapering 
• Feeding
• Discipline
• Participants will also learn CPR and First Aid techniques.

Everyone will receive a certificate of course completion and a certification in CPR.

DURATION

8 Hours

PREREQUISITES

Students must be a minimum of 11 years of age.  Must have completed  parental consent form.

Students are also required to bring a bag of lunch.  Lunch will not be provided.
